Aberdour's new pedestrian crossing - have your say

  • Aberdour's new pedestrian crossing has been burning bright into the night for a few weeks now - what do you think - a boon or a bad thing?

The lights on Aberdour's new zebra crossing on the High Street have been shining for a few weeks now - so now that the crossing is in place, what do you think of it?

Has it been a good thing, helping people to cross safely, or has it been causing traffic problems and, conversely, making crossing more dangerous.

Or, as our picture seems to show (thanks to Twitter poster salidatious) - have the lights been glowing a little too brightly?

So what do you think of the new crossing (and its lights)? Post your comments and have your say on s1aberdour

Hazel Band says

OH MY GOD that side of the village needed a safe crossing and the people of Aberdour are never happy this is just what the kids need along with the older residents too

Modhail Ainm says

Judging from Hazel's comment, I'm surprised there hasn't been widespread outrage and uproar. When was the public inquiry about this? Why were we not consulted on the colour scheme? Did nobody think to point out that this is clearly in stark contrast to our beautiful conservation area. No doubt the idea of black, white and yellow came from the council's "modern" designers. Shame on them all!
