Man arrested after 'hostage' incident at Aberdour house
7 NovemberPolice have confirmed that a 36-year-old man has been arrested following an incident in Aberdour on Friday evening.
Police were called to a house in Main Street, Aberdour around 5pm on Friday 4th November, to an incident where a woman had allegedly been taken hostage. The man was very quickly taken into custody by police and consequently will be appearing from custody on Monday 7th November at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. The victim sustained a minor injury.
The man was also charged with offences committed in Glenrothes earlier on Friday, where it is alleged he assaulted a woman in the Woodside area of the town. The woman was uninjured.
